This is a wonderful Willi Foerster Signed Etching C. 1930. It is titled “Doppelbruecke”. This is the Tauber Bridge in Rothenberg, Batavia. Foerster (1892 - 1965) was a pupil of Otto Ludwig Naegele. Besides etchings, Foerster also did watercolors and oil paintings. The piece is professionally framed with a single mat and has been held in a smoke free home. Framed dimensions are 13 3/4” x 12 1/4”. The etching is 3 3/8” x 2 1/8”.
