This is a wonderful Lee Sturges Signed Etching of a Rocky Mountain Lake C. 1910. Sturges (1865 - 1954) was an etcher whose training took place at the Art Institute of Chicago, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Chicago Academy of Design. Sturges has his work displayed in the Art Institute of Chicago and the Smithsonian Institution. This piece is professionally framed , single matted and has been held in a smoke free home. The framed dimensions are 19 1/2” x 16 1/8”. The etching dimensions are 11 1/2” x 8 1/2”.
