S-20 C 1840 French Coin Scale
This is a C 1840 French Coin Scale in Leather Wrapped Case. The inside of the case is lined with a chamois material. This is an brass equal arm beam scale with double hole ends and brass pans. The beam is 11 cm long and the pans are 3.3 cm in diameter. The dimensions of the box are 15 cm x 6.6 cm. There are 7 weights in the box, one is missing. The leather is worn off the sides of the box but the hinges and clasp are still in great shape. The brass weights are 2,1 & 1/2 Louis, 2 ea. 1 Ducat, 1 3 Gold and 20 Francs.
